The terms that apply when you book a move with us.
These terms apply to quotes and bookings made with Edward Man And Van Services. By requesting a quote or booking a move you agree to the following.
Quotes are based on the information you provide (such as addresses, access, van size and items). They are indicative until confirmed. If the actual job differs significantly from what was described, the price may be adjusted and agreed with you before work continues.
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date, time and price with you. Payment is taken securely, typically by credit card, in line with the details provided at the time of booking.
We aim to arrive on time for every booked slot and to handle your belongings with care. Please ensure clear access and that items are ready where practical so the move can run smoothly and on budget.
Drivers on our network carry goods-in-transit insurance. Fragile, valuable or high-risk items should be declared in advance so they can be handled appropriately. We recommend keeping documents and valuables with you during the move.
Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel, so we can offer the slot to another customer and avoid any charges where possible.
