The King's Road, Cromwell Road and the A4 run as red routes where you cannot stop at all, so we work to the nearest loading window on a side street and, for larger moves, arrange a council removals dispensation a few days in advance. The mews off Kynance Mews and Pont Street take one careful van at a time. The eastern Knightsbridge sliver of the borough by Sloane Street sits inside the Congestion Charge zone, so a weekday daytime move right on that edge can attract the daily charge, the rest of K&C does not. And every August, the Notting Hill Carnival closes much of W10 and W11 for the bank-holiday weekend, so we book moves there for the days either side.
