First, the hills: Crouch End Broadway, Muswell Hill Broadway and the streets off Alexandra Park Road mean tall front steps and tight period staircases, so we plan two-person lifts and protect bannisters. Second, the Harringay Ladder, the dense run of streets between Green Lanes and Wightman Road, is parked solid and one-car-wide, so we bring the right van and load fast at a quieter time rather than blocking the road.
Third, the east of the borough is high-rise and changing quickly. Around Tottenham Hale, Hale Village and the High Road West regeneration there are blocks with service lifts and loading bays we'll book ahead. Most of N4, N8 and N22 falls under controlled parking zones, so we work to bay times near Wood Green High Road and Green Lanes, and on match days we check Tottenham Hotspur fixtures before booking anything near Northumberland Park. The Ladder streets in particular are narrow and parked solid, so we time the van for the quieter part of the day and keep the carry short.
Yes. Around Tottenham Hale and Northumberland Park there are plenty of blocks with lifts and the new Hale Village and High Road West developments. We check lift sizes and book any service lift or loading bay with the building so a high-floor move runs without waiting around.
